Intro

Twitter has become the craze of online networking for personal and business use. The best way to define Twitter for those who are not familiar is a mix between a blog, text, and social networking platform. Twitter allows you to "follow" or to be followed, this is similar to adding friends on other social networking sites. Members can then post a "Tweet" a 140 character max description of whatever they are doing.

Quick Business Tips for Twitter

Search - When getting started use the search link on the bottom of the page to find people who are interested in the same things you are. To find more friends narrow down the topics you search to refine your followers or following.

Be Followed - Following people is great but you really want people to follow you. This means they are interested in what's going on with you business.

Be Creative - More people will follow you if you can creatively post content. Ask a question, be witty, offer advice, or give something away. These are all ways people will keep following your tweets.

Syndicate - Applications such as LinkedIn allow you to grab posts from twitter and share them with your group or professional network. MHN - http://gomhn.com allows you to submit blog links directly into your twitter account to stay even more connected with your network.
